Gilly Rutherford - Coaching Profile

Giley RutherfordGilly Rutherford is an experienced executive coach and has a strong business background in organisation learning and development, Leadership and Change Management. Working across a broad range of organisations and sectors she has developed a client list which includes CEO, COO, Directors and Functional Heads

As a coach she takes a systemic approach focussing on client strengths, motivation and creativity. She believes that leadership and learning are inextricably linked. In her work she helps leaders identify learned patterns of behaviour or thinking that are no longer helpful, and devise new strategies for the future to improve leadership impact, relationships, and work performance. Learning and adapting so that they improve their own performance, the performance of others and, crucially, the performance of the organisation they work for.
Coaching Supervision

As a coaching supervisor, Gilly offers over 15 years of running her own coaching practice Through a pragmatic, insightful and supportive approach Gilly provides a ‘safe’ space where the coach can reflect on individual clients and the systems in which they work, their own process and approaches, and the demands and challenges of the task and relationship, providing time to reflect, consider and learn. Gilly supports the coach in identifying recurring themes or patterns in their own practice and in their clients’ experiences. Helping the coach to gain greater insight into their practice and their client and ensuring the coach is being the best that they can be.

Gilly is also accredited in the use of the Coaching Signatures Supervision tool which identifies the coaches’ unique coaching style and enables greater insight on the coaches’ strengths and how they can adapt it to their clients’ needs.
